MB2 Institute for Development promotes a Targeted Investment Strategy which seeks to maximize financial return and social good by promoting environmental stewardship, consumer protection, human rights, and diversity. We are involved in assisting Black-owned Businesses and Entrepreneurs with acquiring funding for investment in businesses and growth strategies. This includes assistance with acquiring equity through Broad-Based Black Economic Empowerment deals.

We are involved in the establishment of Industry-based Enterprise Development Funds. This is done through a JV partnership in a PPP model in conjunction with ABSA Bank and a selected DFI. These Funding instruments will be 100% Black owned and managed and will target closing the funding gap for marginalised South Africans, particularly entrepreneurs with Disabilities.
